  4. Decent

The directions are very vague for the motor group and the lights. Also, the tail light wires are too short for a longbed truck. It is nice that the wires are all color coded and labelled, and bundled together fairly well.

checked the wiring harness last nite. Love the layout and description of each wiring bundle. I dont have to scracth my head over were the wires are going. Planning on starting orignal harness remove this weekend. Then let the fun begin . I cant wait

  6. not installed yet

From first impression, it looks good and complete. I have not installed it yet due to my lack of knowledge but will this week. Every wire is labeled, fuses are good and panel in great shape. If you know how to read wiring schematics, the manual will work just fine. I however, do not know anything about wiring so this manual is useless to me personally. I have friends for such projects. only downside i have was the shipping. took 9 days (including weekend) to get here. UPS is not prompt and the package was severely damage, torn and damn near bent in half when handed to me. luckily this package was 95% wiring, otherwise it would have been destroyed. also, UPS are liars. they said they came once (tuesday) and i was not home. this is not true. i was in my living room with front door open ALL day watching tv with my kid and playing games, sunrise to sunset. went to bed at midnight with no package. this is after them doing the same thing the previous day (monday). i suggest a different carrier if that is an option. Great price for this item and quality seems good. ill give it 7 of 10 until i install for final verdict. thanks

  7. cleanest engine bay ever

i bought this kit for my 78 Ford truck. I never have done any kind of wiring besides a radio. When the kit arrived it was neatly wound up and clearly labled. After removing the old harness and laying out the new one I could see that there was some noticable differances in the two. I used all my origanial switches and instruments which does take some studying of the original wiring diagram to make it work the instructions that come with the new harness tends to lean towards chevy wiring and after market instruments. after all was done i have to say that under the hood looks great and that under the dash is far less pack. i called for assistance a couple of times and everytime they were a great help, couldnt ask for better. For the same type harness from LMC was over $500 and probably came from china
